Letters to Santa

We are headed into the holiday season so I thought this week’s entry would be very fitting. Macy’s has teamed with Make-A-Wish Foundation this year and for every stamped letter to Santa that is put in the letterboxes at Macy’s all over the U.S., $1 will be donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation. All you have to do is write a letter to Santa, address it to Santa at the North Pole, stamp it and drop it into one of Santa’s special letterboxes which can be found at Macy’s. They will count up the number of letters they receive and will donate $1 per letter up to $1 million and will then take them to the post office to be mailed. So while you or you and your children are beginning to think in the holiday spirit, consider writing a letter to Santa. Happy Writing!

Until next week,
Annie

Sevenly

This week’s entry is one that costs a little money yet it still follows the goal of the blog. I try to keep things low on cost so that everyone that reads this blog is able to help but this organization seems pretty neat. Sevenly.org creates a shirt every week for the organization they are helping that week. It is a unique shirt that is designed specifically to be sold on Sevenly.org and is only available for a week. They donate $7 from each shirt sale to the organization of the week. For example this week’s, which ends tonight, cause is sex trafficking and the organization that they are donating the money to is GEMS. So far $6,300 has been raised from shirt sales just in one week. This helps organizations because not only is money being donated but more people are being educated of the cause by the shirt you are now wearing. The people at Sevenly.org are helping “raise capital and awareness for the world’s greatest causes”. So, in the next few weeks when you feel like getting some new clothes or are wondering what to get a friend for the holidays, head over to Sevenly.org and check out the t-shirt and cause of the week. Happy awareness!

Until next week,
Annie
